Ultra-portable convertible
Just as convertible cars are the coolest motors going, this swivel-hipped tablet has rival UMPCs licked in the style stakes.
Toting a full QWERTY keyboard as well as a touch screen, this portable's rotate-o-screen means it's got everything a regular tablet has, with the added flexibility of a regular laptop.
Crafted by the masters of miniaturisation at Japanese firm Kohjinsha, the UMPC is the size of an A5 pad, comes packing Bluetooth, a 3-in-1 card reader, up to a gig of memory and hard disks up to 80-gig.
That's on top of wired network connections, built in Wi-Fi and USB ports.
On sale in the far east for around £400, it's unlikely to make its way to our shores for some time, but weighing less than a bag of sugar, and looking far classier than UMPCs we've seen to date, this is one to watch if you're after the ultimate portable.
