Apple unveiling more next month?
Rumours suggest a special event from Apple next month. Is Leopard finally about to pounce?
We've only just recovered from the excitement of MacWorld, and already Apple's rabid fanbase are whispering about another special event planned next month.
The eagle-eyed Mac fans over at LoopRumors reckon there's a special announcement coming from Apple in "February or early March," most likely intended to showcase the next version of OS X, codenamed leopard.
Other new software is also poised for launch by Apple, including updates to its iLife and iWork packages. There's also potential for more iPhone announcements, or maybe even a combination. Can anyone else smell mobile versions of iWork and iLife cooking?
A mobile version of iMovie would be perfect for iPhone users shooting video with its 2-meg camera, while iWork would let business-minded users work on presentations or documents on the move.
Leopard itself may not launch until Spring, but it's been months since an official update was given on Apple's progress, could Stevie J be about to take the stage again?
