Apple preps armfuls of new kit
Well informed tech-heads say Apple's got a "dizzying amount" of new stuff, even tablet Macs and media centres, ready for launch next week.
With just four days to go until head honcho Steve Jobs takes centre stage at Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference, tech-watchers are getting all twitchy about what he'll unveil.
Most interesting though is Robert Scoble, a former Microsoft employee and prolific blogger, who says Apple is revving up a "dizzying amount of new products" for launch at the conference.
Scoble goes on to wish he could "camp out at an Apple store" during WWDC, hinting that at least some of the new kit on offer will be immediately available.
In a later post,-he weighs in on Microsoft's next operating system, Vista, stating that its tablet PC, speech recognition and media centre capabilities are "worlds ahead of Apple," before teasing: "Although watch Apple in a week. Hint hint."
All this endless speculation is making our heads hurt. First we expected new nanos, then the elusive iPhone and there have even been rumours of an ultra-portable Mac.
Now we're crossing our fingers and toes for an Apple media centre, as well as the updated desktops we're almost certain will appear next week.
Stay tuned for all the latest rumours, as well as breaking news from WWDC next week - we can't wait!
