Halo 3 at E3?
Gamers could get-their first sighting of the barnstorming Xbox 360 shooter as early as next week.
As far as the Xbox is concerned, games don't come much bigger than Halo. The first incarnation of the sci-fi shooter was a flagship title for the original Xbox, the second was one of the most anticipated games of all time - and the third will be the first time the Master Chief and friends get an outing on a next generation console.
And now it seems that Microsoft will show a two-minute trailer of the first-person shooter at its pre-E3 conference next Tuesday. At least that's the rumour circulating the games world.
And you won't have to be in LA to see it. Microsoft recently announced that its key E3 content - trailers, demos and the like - will be available to Xbox 360 owners via Xbox Live's Marketplace.
Little is known about Halo 3 at the moment. The game hasn't been seen in action, and no release date has been announced - although Bill Gates has hinted that it might arrive about the same time as Sony's PS3. Not a bad way to steal a bit of your biggest rival's thunder.
T3 will be in attendance at Microsoft's conference - so we'll let you know of any developments as soon as they happen.
