Pocket rocket

MP3 concept design could signal a future direction for the next generation of mini music machines.

The MP3 Pocket Player is appropriately named: it's a small MP3 player designed specifically to be worn comfortably in a trouser or jean pocket. The curved shape means that the display and relevant controls are always visible, whether you're standing up or sitting down.

The player is the latest work from the drawing board of German designer Matthias Lange, who previously came up with the idea for the FlapCam. Unfortunately for fans of dinky digital music devices, it's just a concept at the moment, and there are no plans to give it a commercial launch. Still, you can check out Lange's website here .
