DAB in your pocket

The iAudio D2 DAB finally arrives in stores.

DAB radio lovers, ready your wallets - Cowon's iAudio D2 DAB, the world's first matchbox-sized digital radio, is now on sale in the UK.

The D2 DAB comes with a full band III DAB tuner, as well as FM radio and the ability to play back a heap of digital audio formats and MP4 or XviD videos (there's a 2.5-inch touchscreen for the purpose). It's available with 4GB and 8GB of flash memory, which can be expanded with an SD HC card if you want.

Cowon claims the battery will last for 52 hours with regular MP3s, as well as 10 hours with video and an impressive 12 hours with DAB.

Fancy one? You can head over to Advanced MP3 Players and splash out on one right now. Only the 4GB version is on sale at the moment, and it costs £169.99 on its own, or £189.99 with a 4GB SD card chucked in.
