Lavish your iPod with Jack Black's vodcasts

The comic actor is to unleash a series of behind-the-scenes "confessionals" about the making of his latest film on to the iTunes store.

King Kong and School of Rock star Jack Black has recorded a series of free video podcasts (or "vodcasts", for those in the know) about his experiences during the making of his upcoming movie Nacho Libre.

The film, directed by Jared "Napoleon Dynamite" Hess, casts Black as a Mexican wrestler trying to raise money to save an orphanage - and the short clips take the form of unscripted "confessionals" intercut with behind-the-scenes footage and music.

Black said, "Whenever I was in my trailer on the set of 'Nacho Libre,' I would fire up my videocamera, plop my ass down in a Barcalounger, and record my thoughts and feelings on how the movie was going.- So I think it's a kick-ass document, keeping all my peeps up to date on what's going on."

The vodcasts are available exclusively from the iTunes store and Quicktime.com, with new ones appearing every Tuesday and Thursday for the next ten weeks.
