iPhone queues already

Mac addicts have started to line up for a slice of Apple's mobile masterpiece on Friday.

Unless you've been living under a very, very big rock for the past few months you'll know Apple's iPhone launches this week. Some eager Mac fans have even started to queue outside stores. Four days early.

It's the latest in a long line (if you'll forgive the pun) of iPhone happenings ahead of the launch. Apple are hyping the mobile like nothing before, even installing metre-high replicas in their American stores.

The thing is, neither AT&T or Apple have revealed the price plans that'll be needed for iPhone, something that's slightly worrying as it's critical to the end cost of the handset.

It's expected that AT&T will announce final tariff pricing as late as possible, and there are even murmurs that a pay as you go option will be available.

In the meantime, iPhone evangelists continue to line up outside Apple stores on the other side of the Atlantic. Head over to AppleInsider for a close up look at these strange creatures, personally we'd recommend waiting for Apple's plans on this side of the pond before setting up camp on the pavement. It could be a long wait.
