Twingo-go-gadget holder
Renault's compact new motor is a tech-lover's dream machine.
Renault has just unveiled the new Twingo - named, imaginatively, "New Twingo" - and it features one or two features that should get gadget fans salivating like rabid techno-wolves.
The dashboard features a rubber tray designed to grip your widgets tight while you're flinging the motor round corners. Called a "grass mat" trim, it uses mini stalks to hold mobile phones, iPods and the like.
There's also a "TunePoint Audio Connection Box" which allows you to hook up music-laden USB keys, MP3 players and the like to the stereo and control the tunes through the steering wheel-mounted controls. Not only that, but integrated Bluetooth lets you take phone calls without lifting your mitts off the wheel.
The New Twingo is the first of its kind that will be launched in a right-hand drive version, so UK motorists will be able to get behind the wheel before long.
